CRITICAL
OVERVIEW:
Christina’s
interests lie in fashion, film, art and visual culture. She grew up Greek in
suburban Melbourne in the middle of two cultures, and used television and the
movies to understand the world, dream big and escape reality. Her films focus
on themes of family, identity, culture and politics.
She is a founding member of the Hand Eye Collective, that hosted a series of discussions for L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival in 2012. The Hand Eye Collective aim to create projects and festivals that involve makers and community.
Christina
is obsessed with the colour red, collects vintage buttons and has a
fashion/film blog titled, Every Dress Tells A Story.
