Bill Mousoulis first encountered Dimitri Athanitis 11 years ago, not physically, but in cinematic essence, as Mousoulis sat mesmerised watching Athanitis' film 2000 + 1 Shots. Mousoulis, as film critic for Senses of Cinema, placed the film in his Top 10 films of 2001.

Athanitis is one of Greece's foremost film directors, an independent spirit who has now made 6 features, the latest one being Three Days Happiness (2011).

Mousoulis and Athanitis met in person in 2008, and have established a close friendship and working relationship since then.

Athanitis is the Co-Producer of Wild and Precious.
