Director Bill Mousoulis first noticed Emanuela Zocco on Facebook, in late 2010, enjoying her cinephilic posts, as she presented her favourite clips from favourite films, and interesting arrangements of stills from these films.

But he then noticed something else as well - her own particular aura, a cinematic presence like Juliette Binoche's or Emmanuelle Riva's. So he duly cast her in Wild and Precious, without even meeting her!

A total natural, Zocco has never acted before, but she is brilliant in Wild and Precious.
